Hi Tanya,
I see you have your hands even fuller than usual what with bunnies galore and uni too soon. How is the allotment coming along this year? I don't know where you find the time and energy (although you are still a youngster).
Just a quick update-we have all settled in well. The children have done remarkably well and really suprised me although Thomas definately misses Worthing, the sea, his friends and he often mentions you. In fact he asked yesterday if you could come to his birthday party which isn't til October-he suggested John look after the kids and Nugget so you can come. Thomas has got a good school to go to in September. Not far to walk as it is next door but one.
The balloon you gave Thomas to say goodbye has only just come down off the ceiling-it lasted nearly 3 months!-and of course he won't let me throw it away either.
Good luck with all that you are doing and thanks for everything you did for Thomas. He definately has some very happy memories of his time spent with you, John and the kids, animals, fish etc.

Dear Tanya,
Just a note to say thank-you for all you have done for us and M in the last 2 years. It has helped us knowing she loves you and loves coming to your house and that we are able to call on you at short notice and that you have collected and dropped her home for us! We know that you will miss her crazy antics and we will all miss seeing you and the kids + "Tanya's fun disco bus!"

Tanya Clubb has been the childminder for my son Harry for approximately six months. She was recommended to me by a former work colleague for whom she has been childminding for a number of years. I recieved a glowing verbal reference for her and her capabilities in providing a safe and nurturing environment for children, which along with my personal first impressions gave me the added confidence to entrust the care of my one year old son to her.
During this time I have been greatly impressed by Tanya and her care of my son. Firstly her warmth and affection for children is evident and from the off set, my child settled into his new routine with her almost immediately. I was and still am extremely greatful for her constant communications on his progress, daily routines and happiness, especially in his first week and to date.
Harry has benefitted in a number of ways from being in Tanya's care due to the fact that she continues any routines already in place whilst adapting and stretching his capabilities on an individual and daily basis. Tanya's organisational skills are exemplary, which mean for example that I have in writing exactly what will happen to my son whilst in her care and every eventuality, from emergencies to medications to holidays and dietry requirements are covered. Tanya has proven herself to have excellent communication skills and is very capable, efficient and above all, genuinely caring person.
I have had a variety of concerns with regards to childcare placement for my son, none of which are relevent now that he is with Tanya, due to all of the above. Obviously the fact that Harry cannot verbalise if he has been unhappy or stressed is another issue for me, however, the fact that Harry runs to her front door in the mornings, has never once cried when being dropped off but gone straight to play and his general disposition when I collect him for example, have all helped to immediately allay any concerns I may of had initially and shown me just how content Harry is in Tanya's care.
In summary I cannot recommend Tanya highly enough to anyone looking for a childminder, or indeed a person to fill variety of endeavours she may seek to pursue in the future and I look forward to continuing our present arrangements for as long as possible.

My daughter Robyn has been in the care of Tanya since Jan 2009. Myself and my husband found Tanya very approachable and were happy with her work ethics regarding the care of our child.Our daughter loves spending time with Tanya and with the other boys and girls. Her routine is very stable and her development has really come on. My daughter is very vocal and her words are coming on very well. Tanya regularly updates me with Robyn's progress and we keep each other well informed regarding her behaviour, speech, dietry requirements etc.
I feel the house is well baby fide with plenty of toys and Tanya regularly keeps the children entertained with activities. I look forward to seeing Robyn's folder every few weeks to see the progress she has made. Robyn is also well established now within Tanya's own family unit as well and has a good relationship with Tanya's children and husband.
We are very happy with Tanya and look forward to sharing Robyn's further developments and memorable moments with her.

I have used Tanya's Tinkers for nearly two years and am very pleased with the service provided. Tanya is reliable and also flexible regarding last minute changes to times etc.
I would recommend her to anyone who was looking for an excellent childminder.

Since M has joined Tanya's Tinkers in January 2009 I have found Tanya to be extremely accommodating to our childcare needs. For example, when I first contacted Tanya regarding childcare I explained that I was looking at getting M cared for as a matter of urgency and Tanya was happy to invite me to visit her later that day to discuss my childcare requirements and to meet M and discuss her needs and routines.
Tanya was able to provide me with her availability immediately and was in a position to take M on very soon after the first meeting. I found this to be extremely helpful as this enabled me to undertake my responsibilities sooner.
I have found Tanya to be extremely organised with regards to her paperwork and was extremely impressed at the touches she puts to her childminding for example, all parents paperwork/authorisations are set up in a plastic wallet all in a set folder for each child clearly labelled, parents are provided with their own diary for each child so that parents and Tanya can communicate food, sleeps and nappies etc on a daily basis. She has set up a newsletter since we joined which details information on a monthly basis regarding her care, what the children are doing each month and wishing children a happy birthday for all children who celebrate a birthday that month.
We have found Tanya to be extremely flexible with our childcare needs in the respect that on occasion, we require extra time on top of what we arrange from month to month and not only is Tanya able to check her availability immediately to see what her numbers are she will always do her best to fit M in and if she cannot she will take steps to find an alternative carer for M (so far Louise Olney) who M is familiar with and also feels content being cared for by Louise.
Tanya was open to learning about our requests and M's needs and routines and has worked very well with M to help M be a happy and contented baby. We feel that Tanya treats M with the right level of love and care and always has M's well-being as a priority.
Overall, we feel that Tanya provides a safe and caring environment while encouraging the children to develop at the right level for the age they are at.
